June 13, 2015 – ROSEMOUNT, Minn. — THEAQ Publishing announces the release of the Fichu Scarf knitting pattern designed by Ana Carleton.
This scarf provides the warmth of a shawl with the convenience of a scarf. The versatile design, that allows the shawl portion to be placed in the front or back, is based on the traditional 19th century Fichu Shawl commonly used to fix a neckline.
Carleton has knitted since she was nine years old. She especially enjoys building lace stitches and the design and construction of shawls. Other fine art interests include spinning wool, weaving with a floor loom, basket weaving, crochet, sewing, tatting, quilting, Hardanger and oil painting.
